- manuel diana: i strongly recommend, karppi, hinterland, narcos, marcella, trapped, borderliner, crossing linez, peaky blinders. the last one, i dont know if its available in english/finnish netflix, it's an argentinian tv show called the marginal, its about a fiction argentinian prission, really good one.

- tupufoks: You have to watch Sorjonen! It is called Bordertown in Netflix, they have the first season there. When it was first shown on Finnish TV I didn't even think about watching it. Then Netflix showed it on the recommended for you list and I thought why not. I was completely HOOKED after first five minutes 😂 I love it because it's so calm and captivating. It's not like most US series where they yell and shoot around all the time. And you can get English subtitles (for Dave) for it so no problem there 😉

- DjStiltje: You recommended literally every true crime documentary that I saw during my xmas holidays. I would definitely recommend "Fyre - The Greatest Party That Never Happened". It's about a festival that was supposed to take place on a desert island in the Bahamas and that was cancelled after people had already arrived there. Watch it!

- Social Madness: Cat, you are so into crimes so I would recommend The Fall for you to watch:) Another series I really enjoyed is Stranger Things especially the first season. Old friends from college was quite fun if you like comedy/drama. I'm not sure for title but it's Vanha Kaveriporukka in Finnish.😁I have to check it out that Dark. Looked really interesting😊

If you want some lighter and fun (well, Good girls was fun and crime, perfect!) you can watch The good place or One day at a time. I love scifi so I love Colony, Star Trek universe, Killjoys etc as well.

- Cat Peterson: I'm from Finland but I lived in London for 10 years, we just moved back to Finland last spring. My first language is Swedish so I do speak that fluently but having been in London for such a long time I loose a lot of words and substitute them with English 🤭

- Oliver: You should watch La Casa de Papel translate as Money Heist in Netflix. It is a Spaniard show that won the Emmy to best international serie. I recomend to watch in Spanish with English captions. It totally worth It. This is serie has been the most not english serie watch in Netflix worldwide.

- Sarah Keech: It's not a show on Netflix, but I randomly picked up "Roseanna"—a murder mystery novel by Swedish writers Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö—a few summers ago on vacation and it is GREAT! Very dark and keeps you reading!

- DjStiltje: Tip of the year, seriously: Do not waste 2 hours on Velvet Buzzsaw. If you're still curious about it, just watch the trailer instead. It's far more exciting and you basically get ALL the action that the film has to offer in less than 3 minutes.

- Jeremy Martin: My wife has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She loves watching true crime and crime dramas. She got to take a tour of the prison with inmates all around the group where the Texas death chamber is located. She also got to go into the death chamber. She has a lot of stories about the prison from the tour. The university she went to is just a few blocks from the prison. We have always joked that I could not piss her off because she know how to cover her tracks if needed because of her degree. LOL

- Oliver: Check It out. Another good serie is Merli (this serie is in Catalan lenguage) this serie also is in Netflix. This show is really good too. I don't know that this serie is subtitle in English in Netflix but is this serie has subtitle in English you should see this show.
