“Extra’s” Mario Lopez caught up with Rob Lowe at Universal Studios Hollywood to talk about his latest projects.
Rob recently shared his exotic adventure in South Africa on Instagram Stories, and told Mario the shots were taken while filming a new Netflix movie called “Christmas in the Wild.”
The film co-stars Kristin Davis, who plays a woman who travels to Africa after a recent split with her husband. While there, she meets a bush pilot/elephant conservationist played by Lowe.
Rob revealed there is another co-star he’s excited to work with on the film. “My son Johnny is playing Kristin Davis’ son… listen, any excuse I get to work with the boys is great.” No word yet when the movie will be available to stream.
Lowe was joined at Universal by “Supertroopers 2” co-stars Paul Soter, Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan, and they gave Mario the scoop on the hilarious sequel, which is now available on DVD.
